A new partnership
Laurier’s Faculty of Music is launching a brand-new musical theatre intensive in partnership with the Stratford Festival, running May 4-15, 2026. Two weeks of workshops, artist talks, backstage access, and hands-on experience with one of Canada’s leading theatre companies!
I am so happy and proud to have been given the opportunity to help facilitate this partnership. These two institutions are my artistic homes and to be able to introduce them to each other on this scale is a dream come true.
Developing a new course
Due to the success of the Stratford Musical Theatre Intensive Course, I have been commissioned to write a “Part 2” course called “The Stratford Festival Musical Theatre Intensive: Practical Applications”. The Stratford Musical Theatre Intensive Part 2: Practical Applications is a dynamic sequel to the Stratford Musical Theatre Intensive Course. In this new course students will be offered tangible experiences to learn, observe, and demonstrate the variety of musical skills needed to work as performers and backstage team members in a professional musical theatre setting with an opportunity to perform their own cabaret under the mentorship of Stratford Festival teaching artists and coaches.
